Urgent Alert: Beware of Impersonation Scam Targeting Stigan Media Clients

email scam

Dear Valued Stigan Media Clients,

It has come to our attention that an individual or group is actively impersonating Adwin and Sandro of Stigan Media, sending fraudulent emails to our client list. These deceptive emails are designed to look legitimate and may request sensitive information or prompt you to take unnecessary actions regarding your website.

Please be aware that Stigan Media would never send urgent requests for website configuration updates, domain renewals, or plugin setups via an unsolicited email in this manner.

We have received reports of emails with the subject line: “Action Required: Website Configuration Update” and content similar to the following:

“Hi Dear,

I hope you’re doing well.

This is Adwin, Ceo of Stigan Media, I wanted to share an important update following a recent review from the website platform’s support team. They advised that your website is not yet fully aligned with the latest system-wide updates currently being implemented across the platform. In addition, the domain renewal and required plugin setup need to be completed before March 2nd.

If these items are not addressed by the deadline, there is a risk the website could be flagged or temporarily taken offline. Since we have collaborated before, I wanted to bring this to your attention promptly so we can take the necessary steps to avoid any service disruption.

This would also be an ideal opportunity to complete a full SEO setup, ensuring the site remains compliant, secure, and properly optimized moving forward.

If you’d like me to proceed with handling this for you, simply reply “YES”, and I’ll take care of the next steps. If you’d prefer to discuss it first, I’m happy to do so.

Kind regards,”
